Manchester United si-a adjudecat pentru a doua oara consecutiv titlul in Premier League, dupa ce a reusit sa o invinga in deplasare pe Wigan Athletic, cu 2-0. Formatia de pe Old Trafford a castigat de 17 ori pana acum titlul de campioana, 10 dintre acestea fiind cucerite cu Sir Alex Ferguson pe banca.
